Book Review: The Hearler’s Art
Monday, April 26, 2010
This thoughtful and thought-provoking book is about health, medicine, morality, life and death which are aptly illustrated with examples from the author’s experience. It suggests a redefinition of the physician’s role that may point the way for the next generation of doctors and patients. There is a discussion on the healing connection and the healer’s battle, the role of the omnipotence in the healer’s art, illness and disease. It signals the opening of a much-needed change in the doctor’s approach to patients.
